Overseasidol.com — The name of TNT member Yan Haoxiang has once again drawn public attention as a family dispute involving his father surfaced online.
The controversy began after a social media account believed to belong to his father, Yan Jun, posted a statement claiming to sever ties with his son.
In the post, he cited financial difficulties due to failed investments, reportedly accumulating debts of around 3.61 million yuan, and accused his children of lacking communication and concern.
Shortly after, Yan Haoxiang’s mother, Zhou Qiong, issued a response.
She clarified that she had divorced Yan Jun in 2009 and emphasized that they have long lived separate lives.
She also urged that personal family matters should not be brought into the public sphere or involve their children.
Further reports brought up allegations of past infidelity involving Yan Jun.
Addressing the issue, he explained that his relationship with Zhou Qiong had already broken down in 2005, and they had been living separately since then.
He stated that he met his current wife in 2006, had a child in 2007, and finalized the divorce in 2009.
He also claimed that financial hardship at the time delayed the divorce process, including his inability to meet compensation demands.
According to him, his former wife did not support him during that period, while his current partner stood by him through difficult times.
Meanwhile, Yan Haoxiang was reportedly raised by his mother from a young age and has publicly expressed deep appreciation for his mother and older sister, often describing them as key figures in his life.
