Overseasidol.com — The family dispute involving TNT member Yan Haoxiang has intensified, as his mother, Zhou Qiong, publicly announced plans to take legal action against his father, Yan Jun.
In her statement released on May 3, Zhou Qiong accused Yan Jun of demanding a large sum of money, reportedly exceeding 10 million yuan.
She claimed that he threatened to publicly sever the father-son relationship if the demand was not met.
Zhou Qiong also revealed that Yan Haoxiang has been financially supporting his father for years.
According to her, the singer has transferred over 3 million yuan in total and had promised to help fund his younger sibling’s overseas education, as well as provide monthly support.
However, she emphasized that Yan Jun’s current debts stem from his own investments with his present family and are unrelated to Yan Haoxiang.
She strongly opposed any attempt to pressure her son into covering those financial burdens.
“Do not use the title of ‘father’ to force a child into paying for responsibilities that are not his,” she stated.
Zhou Qiong further noted that she would no longer address the issue online and intends to resolve the matter through legal channels.
