Chinese fantasy romance film My Tomorrow Your Yesterday has officially announced its release date and is set to premiere nationwide on August 19, 2026.
The release date coincides with the Qixi Festival, often referred to as Chinese Valentine’s Day.
Previously known as Meeting the Future Me and the Yesterday You, the film stars Bi Wenjun and He Landou in the lead roles.
Directed by Xiang Guoqiang and produced by Jiang Hao, the movie blends romance and time-travel elements into an emotional love story.
My Tomorrow Your Yesterday follows Jiang Nanshan, a historical architecture restoration expert, who unexpectedly meets Li Ai, a medical student, on a bus.
Their chance encounter quickly develops into love at first sight.
However, their relationship comes with an extraordinary challenge. Their timelines move in opposite directions.
Jiang Nanshan’s tomorrow is Li Ai’s yesterday, leaving them with only one month of overlapping time together.
As each meeting becomes more precious, the couple must navigate a love story defined by limited moments and an inevitable countdown.
