Chinese actor Lin Muran recently appeared on the 252nd episode of Sohu’s Star Colleague, which premiered on June 18, 2026.
During the interview, he shared behind-the-scenes stories from the hit drama The First Jasmine and reflected on his first collaboration with actress Bai Lu.
Lin Muran plays Han Mingxi, a loyal and devoted character who constantly protects Ye Li.
He revealed that he became deeply attached to the role and found it difficult to move on after filming the final scene.
The actor also spoke highly of director Lin Yufen, saying that working with one of the most respected directors in Chinese costume dramas taught him valuable lessons about acting and storytelling.
