More than a year after the passing of Barbie Hsu, discussions surrounding her estate have resurfaced.
Her mother, Huang Chunmei, revealed that she did not receive any inheritance and is concerned about the future of the home where she currently lives.
Speaking to local media, Huang Chunmei said she is not a legal heir to Barbie Hsu’s estate.
She added that the inheritance process is being handled by those who are legally entitled to it and admitted she does not fully understand the court’s decisions.
She also explained that the residence she occupies is a property owned by Barbie Hsu and has never been transferred into her name.
As a result, the home is now part of the estate settlement, leaving her worried that she could eventually be asked to move out.
Meanwhile, Wang Xiaofei, Barbie Hsu’s former husband, has denied reports claiming he intends to force Huang Chunmei out of the property.
He stated that he has never requested her to leave and said the inheritance process is continuing through legal procedures.
