Argentina booked their place in the FIFA World Cup Round of 16 on July 4 after defeating Cape Verde 3-2 in a thrilling match.
Although Cape Verde was eliminated, the team’s determined performance won praise from singer and football enthusiast Allen Su Xing.
Shortly after the match, Allen shared his thoughts on social media, saying the game reminded him of the World Cup final four years ago.
He described Cape Verde as an incredibly brave opponent that pushed Argentina to its limits.
Allen Su also said he remains a loyal Lionel Messi supporter, but admitted he has become a fan of Cape Verde because of the team’s outstanding fighting spirit.
