Overseasidol.com — Chinese actor Zhang Xincheng faced a disturbing incident after being chased by two sasaeng fans (obsessive fans known for invading celebrities’ privacy) in the early hours of October 23, 2025.
According to an official statement released by his studio, Zhang and his team were followed from Guiyang Airport all the way on the highway, leading to police intervention.
The statement explained that after landing in Guiyang, two vehicles began tailing Zhang Xincheng’s car closely, refusing to maintain a safe distance.
Hoping to lose them, the team stopped at a gas station, but once they resumed their journey, the sasaeng cars continued to follow persistently.
Things escalated when Zhang’s team pulled over at a service area to confront the followers.
Despite repeated warnings, the individuals ignored them and continued to pursue the vehicle along the expressway, creating a serious safety hazard.
The team then contacted local police, who managed to step in and end the chase safely.
In its statement, Zhang Xincheng Studio strongly condemned all forms of sasaeng behavior and unauthorized photography.
The studio emphasized that obtaining personal information through illegal means and following artists by car or plane seriously disrupts public order and endangers the artist’s safety.
The statement concluded by urging fans to support Zhang in a respectful and rational manner.
