Overseasidol.com — Chinese actress Michelle Ye Xuan has recently opened up about being involved in a complicated inheritance dispute following the passing of her father last year due to pancreatic cancer.
In her statement, Michelle shared that she is currently dealing with ongoing legal issues related to the division of her father’s estate.
She revealed that both she and her stepmother have been named as defendants in the case, adding further tension to an already difficult situation.
More concerningly, her father has yet to be properly buried in the family’s ancestral grave.
Michelle explained that she had been by her father’s side throughout his illness, providing care and support.
However, she accused a woman who had been acting as her father’s caretaker of taking advantage of the situation.
The woman, reportedly her father’s longtime girlfriend, allegedly used her position to gain control over a significant portion of his assets.
According to Michelle Ye, the woman managed to transfer ownership of nearly half of her father’s wealth, including crucial documents such as the title deed to the family’s ancestral burial site.
Furthermore, the same individual has filed a lawsuit against Ye and her stepmother over the remaining inheritance.
Despite discovering the extent of her father’s wealth only after his passing, Ye emphasized that money is not her primary concern.
She expressed that her greatest sorrow lies in the fact that her father has not yet been laid to rest, which she considers far more important than any financial loss.
