Overseasidol.com — The highly anticipated fantasy drama “The Company”, adapted from the well-known novel by Xuan Se, has officially confirmed its premiere date on December 17.
Along with the announcement, the production unveiled the “Open the Door to Treasures” poster and a brand-new trailer titled “Ancient Relics Adventure,” generating strong buzz among fans.
Produced by Tencent Video, New Classics TV, and Hongyu Tianrun, and crafted by Carnival Culture Media, the series is directed by Zhao Qichen with Liu Wenyang as producer.
The drama stars Gao Weiguang, Liang Jingkang, Zhang Miaoyi, and Mao Xiaohui, supported by a talented cast including Zhang Chenxiao, Wang Youjun, Dai Yaqi, Tang Mengjia, Li Jiaqi, Zhao Yaoke, Peng Chuyue, and He Yuhong.
“The Company” follows the story of Bi Zhi, a mysterious owner of an ancient antique shop, who crosses paths with Su Beilu, a young veterinarian from the modern world.
The duo unexpectedly forms a partnership and embarks on a magical journey to recover ancient artifacts, each holding fragments of forgotten time and stories from the past.
The newly released poster centers on the iconic antique shop “Ya She” decorated with traditional Chinese architectural elements, carved wooden doors, lanterns, brick walls, and intricate window frames.
Behind the windows, viewers can spot rare relics such as a fish-pattern bronze mirror, the Liuqing comb, a Kunwu blade, bronze swords, a mermaid candle holder, Liubo chess, and various other mythical antiques, enriching the world-building of the series.
