Overseasidol.com — The upcoming workplace comedy movie “Just a Job” has released its first official trailer titled “The Most Annoying Thing About Work”, alongside a full poster.

The film has quickly gained attention for its bold and humorous portrayal of modern office struggles that resonate deeply with working professionals.

The trailer presents workplace frustrations through the concept of “office sins”, capturing painfully familiar scenarios such as the guilt of asking for time off, last-minute meetings on Friday evenings, endless overtime, and hardworking employees being taken advantage of.

Each moment is exaggerated through sharp satire, turning everyday stress into high-energy comedic relief.

At the center of the story is Ma Junting, portrayed by Wu Junting, an entry-level employee who reaches his breaking point.

Refusing to continue internalizing workplace pressure, he begins pushing back against unreasonable demands and toxic office norms.

His rebellious actions range from confronting unfair managers to exposing lazy coworkers who shift blame and avoid responsibility.

As work becomes an endless loop with no escape, the film depicts the awakening of ordinary employees reclaiming their dignity.

The trailer’s climax features a group of fed-up workers forming an improvised “office Avengers”, delivering a symbolic counterattack against exploitative leadership.

The scene delivers both catharsis and laughter, striking a chord with audiences who have experienced similar frustrations.

The film is produced and written by Liu Tong, directed and co-written by Wang Zijun, with Zeng Tao also serving as screenwriter.

Alongside lead actors Wu Junting and Li Xiaoqian, the cast includes Anna, Zhou Dehua, He Wenjun, Xiao Ai, Passe, Sun Tianyu, and Li Doudou.

Li Chuan appears in a special role, with Ding Guansen and Wang Yichan making guest appearances, and Chen Sisi featured as a special guest star.

The newly released character posters visualize corporate hierarchy from entry-level staff to top executives, offering a vivid snapshot of office life’s power dynamics.

Meanwhile, the animated poster uses looping imagery to depict employees trapped beneath mountains of paperwork, symbolizing the suffocating nature of modern corporate environments.

Produced by Enlight Media, in collaboration with Little Woods Pictures and Shanghai Mini Light Pictures, “Just a Job” is set for nationwide release on January 10, 2026.
