In response, Fan Shiqi posted a statement addressing the situation. He emphasized that online bullying should never be taken lightly.
“I didn’t want to take up public attention, but after these past few days, I want to tell everyone that cyberbullying is not a harmless joke.

In a video circulating online, a man believed to be Fan is suspected of catching Yu after he fled to a parking lot at the time of the incident.
