Overseasidol.com — Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming has once again drawn public attention after being spotted at a traffic police office in Jing’an.

A netizen who happened to be at the scene reported seeing the actor quietly lining up to handle official matters, without drawing attention to himself.

According to eyewitness accounts, Xiaoming appeared low-key and followed the same procedures as other citizens, showing no signs of seeking special treatment.

His visit is believed to be related to settling a traffic violation fine that recently sparked widespread discussion online.

The incident stems from his Qingming holiday outing, where he was seen cycling on the street with his son, nicknamed Little Sponge.

However, the activity quickly became controversial as some netizens pointed out potential violations of China’s road safety regulations.

Under the law, individuals must be at least 12 years old to ride a bicycle on public roads, and both Huang and his son were also noted for not wearing helmets.

In response to the backlash, Huang Xiaoming issued a public apology, acknowledging his oversight and taking full responsibility for the situation.

He emphasized that as a father, he should set a proper example for his child.

He also used the opportunity to remind parents that just because a child knows how to ride a bicycle does not mean they are legally allowed to do so on public roads.
