Overseasidol.com — JKT48 has officially released the music video for their 27th single, “Andai Ku Bukan Idola”, on February 4, 2026, via their official YouTube channel.
The release quickly gained attention thanks to its heartfelt concept and special filming locations in Japan.
The single features Fiony Alveria as the center, placing her at the heart of the song’s concept and visual storytelling.
Adding to the excitement, Oguri Yui from AKB48 the original center of the Japanese version titled “Idol Nanka Janakattara” was directly involved in the JKT48 MV project, highlighting a meaningful cross-group collaboration.
The senbatsu lineup for this single includes Jessi, Marsha, Muthe, Kathrina, Michie, Freya, Christy, Gita, Gracie, Olla, Greesel, and Fiony as center.
Each member portrays a different version of life outside the idol world, bringing a fresh emotional layer to the video.
The storyline imagines what the members’ lives might have been like if they had never become idols.
Fiony is portrayed as an office worker, Marsha as a flight attendant, and Freya as a mother with one child.
Christy and Michie take on roles as medical workers, while Jessi and Muthe become pastry chefs. Gita and Greesel act as traffic officers, and Kathrina, Olla, and Gracie appear as mechanics.
The MV features diverse settings that match each character’s profession.
The final scene takes place at the iconic AKB48 Theater in Akihabara, Tokyo, serving as a symbolic connection between JKT48 and their sister group.
This marks the first time since their 2011 debut that JKT48 has filmed a single’s music video at the AKB48 Theater, making it a nostalgic and meaningful milestone for long-time fans.
