Overseasidol.com — During the evening performance of “Aturan Anti Cinta” (lit. Love Ban) on May 11th, JKT48 thrilled fans with a series of major announcements, marking an exciting new chapter for the idol group.
The highlights included the release of their long-awaited original stage, a city tour in July, and a large-scale special concert at Istora Senayan.
The most anticipated news was the confirmation of JKT48’s original stage, a setlist composed uniquely for the group.
To build excitement, JKT48 will release two performance videos featuring songs from the upcoming stage. The first video is set to drop later this month, followed by a second in June.
This marks a significant milestone, as the original setlist represents JKT48’s evolution beyond adaptations from their Japanese sister group, AKB48.
Additionally, JKT48 announced a new tour, bringing the group closer to fans across Indonesia through a series of intimate events.
The tour will include personal meet and greets and 2-shot photo sessions.
The tour kicks off on July 5 in Semarang, and continues to Cimahi (July 6), Yogyakarta (July 7), Solo (July 9), and wraps up in Surabaya on July 12, where two teams will unite for a special performance.
Capping off the excitement, JKT48 revealed a special concert titled “FULL HOUSE JKT48 & FRIENDS ON STAGE”, to be held on July 26 at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.
The concert will serve as a celebration of their original setlist, with several songs from the stage to be performed live for the first time.
It promises to be a festive gathering of fans and friends, reinforcing JKT48’s presence as a leading force in the idol scene.
