AKB48 has officially revealed the main visual for its upcoming 68th single, “Sukiish,” which is set for release on August 19.
The announcement has generated significant excitement among fans, especially as 19th-generation member Ito Momoka returns as the center for a second consecutive single.
The achievement marks a major milestone for the group.
Ito becomes the first AKB48 member since Mayu Watanabe to hold the center position for two consecutive singles in the past 12 years.
The newly released visual features a bright and playful concept dominated by pink tones.
The 16 selected members appear in pastel-colored summer outfits while posing atop a heart-shaped record player, creating a fresh and charming atmosphere.
The single also marks the first senbatsu appearance of 20th-generation trainee Kondo Saki, adding another highlight to the release.
