Overseasidol.com — The ongoing family controversy involving Psi Scott continues to spark heated discussion across Thai and international social media.
As the issue grows more sensitive, several celebrities have come under criticism for their online interactions, including Thai actress Kao Supassara.
Kao recently faced major backlash after netizens discovered that she had liked and commented with heart and applause emojis on a post shared by Mild Lapassalan.
Many online users interpreted her actions as publicly taking sides in the controversy surrounding allegations linked to the Psi Scott family dispute.
The situation escalated quickly due to the highly sensitive nature of the ongoing case. What Kao reportedly intended as simple encouragement toward a friend was instead viewed by many as support for individuals connected to serious allegations.
As criticism intensified, Kao released a lengthy public apology in both Thai and English to clarify her intentions to fans worldwide.
In her statement, Kao explained that the heart emoji she left on Mild’s post was meant purely as emotional support for a friend who had been facing intense online hate and public criticism.
She said she especially felt sympathy after seeing that Mild’s unborn child was also being dragged into the online attacks.
Kao Supassara also addressed the applause emoji she left under Mild’s clarification video, saying it was never intended to support any controversial behavior.
According to her, she simply believed Mild was trying to protect herself and her family emotionally during a difficult situation.
The actress firmly stated that she does not support any form of sexual assault, harassment, violence, or abusive behavior.
She admitted that after learning more details and seeing how the public interpreted her actions, she realized her social media interaction could be misunderstood.
To avoid causing further harm or confusion, Kao said she immediately deleted the comments.
She also formally apologized to everyone who felt disappointed, uncomfortable, or hurt by her actions.
