Overseasidol.com — A privacy violation case has drawn public attention after Li Yutong was sentenced to 10 days of administrative detention by Chinese authorities for leaking personal information of singer Joker Xue on social media.
The development was reported on April 19, 2026, through the program Fazhi Jinxingshi aired by Beijing Radio and Television Station.
According to the report, Li Yutong intentionally disclosed sensitive details, including the artist’s phone number and identification information.
Representatives from Xue’s agency, Chaoshi Music, stated that the leak had severe consequences.
The incident led to widespread exposure of private information online, affecting not only the artist but also his family members, including a minor.
As a result, Joker Xue reportedly faced harassment through continuous phone calls and messages, forcing him to limit phone usage due to safety concerns.
The situation raised serious alarms regarding personal security.
Following an official investigation, authorities concluded that Li Yutong’s actions violated Article 56 of China’s Public Security Administration Law.
She was subsequently given a 10-day administrative detention from April 10 to April 20, 2026.
