Overseasidol.com — On November 23, Chinese actress Lou Xinyue posted a video sharing an uncomfortable incident she experienced at a bar in Beijing.
She visited the venue with a friend on November 9 just to relax and have a drink.
Lou explained that a foreign man sitting two seats away greeted them, and they politely nodded in response.
Shortly after, a waiter approached and said the man was the bar’s resident singer.
The waiter repeatedly asked Lou and her friend to move and sit next to him. Even after several polite refusals, the request continued.
Lou then firmly stated she did not want to change seats and warned that she would file a complaint if the disturbance continued.
The waiter appeared displeased and responded coldly, saying it might have been a misunderstanding.
Feeling disrespected and upset, Lou and her friend chose to leave the bar shortly after.
Lou criticized the waiter’s behavior for ignoring women’s consent. She said it made customers feel like objects being “offered” without respect.
Lou Xinyue is a mainland Chinese actress. She is known for her roles in dramas such as “Go Ahead” and “The Glory”.
