Overseasidol.com — Japanese boy group Naniwa Danshi has officially announced the release of their upcoming album ND5, set to drop on June 17, 2026.
The album marks the beginning of their 5th anniversary celebrations since their CD debut in November.
The title “ND⁵” symbolizes “Naniwa Danshi to the power of five” reflecting the group’s growth and evolution over the years.
The album is expected to showcase their signature bright pop sound while highlighting a more refined musical direction.
The release will include a total of 15 tracks available across all editions.
Fans can look forward to previously released singles such as “Asymmetry”, “Black Nightmare”, “Never Romantic”, and “Hard Work”.
The album also features the lead track “Celebrate” and “Be My Baby,” which serves as the theme song for the film Yamaguchi-kun wa Warukunai starring Kyohei Takahashi.
The energetic rap track “Gimme The Day” also adds diversity to the album’s sound.
To align with the “5” concept, the album will be released in five different editions, each offering unique content.
Limited editions such as “laND,” “ND,” and “diamoND” include exclusive bonus materials like selected tracks, behind-the-scenes footage, and special music videos.
The regular “arouND” edition features a special song written by all members as a message to their fans.
Meanwhile, the “frieND” edition, available exclusively through the official online store, comes as a three-disc package.
In addition to the main 15 tracks, it includes fan-selected favorite songs and a collection of singles ranging from “Ubu Love” to “Doki it”.
Each edition will also feature distinct cover artwork, adding to its collectible appeal.
