Overseasidol.com — The highly anticipated live finale of PRODUCE 101 JAPAN SHINSEKAI, the fourth season of Japan’s renowned survival audition franchise, successfully concluded its broadcast on June 6.
The emotional final episode aired nationwide via Nippon Television and streamed globally on Lemino and Mnet Plus.
The venue was filled with an electric atmosphere, attended by the show’s trainers, previously eliminated trainees, and the group INI from Season 2, who arrived to witness the birth of a new star.
The ceremony commenced under the guidance of National Producer Representative Dean Fujioka and SEKAI Producer Representative Choi Soo-young, leading into a striking opening performance of the season’s theme song, SHINSEKAI, executed flawlessly by the twenty-two remaining finalists.
The excitement reached its peak when the show officially announced that the final twelve-member group would promote under the official name KO1KEYZ, signifying a new key to the global music industry as they prepare for a simultaneous debut in both Japan and South Korea.
The final lineup of KO1KEYZ was determined from a staggering total of six million nine hundred eighty-three thousand twenty-five votes, calculated using a weighted formula consisting of seventy percent domestic Japanese votes and thirty percent global votes.
