On February 21, he took to social media to clarify their relationship status, thanking fans for their concern and explaining that the separation was a carefully considered, mutual decision.

We’re grateful for the time we shared and wish each other a better future,” Qi Sijun wrote in his statement.
Prior to his post, Liu Mengzhang had already spoken about their relationship in a recent video.
She revealed that they had actually separated some time ago, citing differences in their future plans as the primary reason.
She also emphasized that there were no issues of infidelity or scandal involved.
“We’ve been apart for a while. Our plans for the future were different. There was no cheating or wrongdoing.
It was a peaceful breakup, and I’m gradually moving on,” Liu Mengzhang explained.
