Overseasidol.com — According to data from Qichacha, the court recently released a judgment regarding a labor contract dispute between a hairstylist surnamed Wang and SNH48 agency, Shanghai Star48 Culture Media Group Co., Ltd.

Wang claimed that he was hired by the company as the hairstylist for actress and singer Ju Jingyi, styling her hair for various events and performances.

After completing his work, Wang alleged that the company delayed payment for his labor fees.

Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, he said the company showed an uncooperative attitude, even blocking his contact and forcing him out when he visited the office to seek clarification.

In response, Siba Media argued that there was no formal labor contract between the two parties and that the cooperation was between Wang and Ju Jingyi personally.

The company stated that previous payments were made through Ju’s activity reimbursements and therefore claimed that Ju Jingyi should be responsible for the disputed amount.

Ju Jingyi, listed as a third party in the case, stated that she was not involved in the agreement between Wang and the company and had no knowledge of their contractual terms.

The court found that Wang had repeatedly worked as a hairstylist for Ju Jingyi’s events and that Siba Media had made prior payments to him.

This, the court said, showed that the company had implicitly recognized his labor relationship with them.

The defense’s claim that Ju Jingyi personally hired him was deemed unsupported by evidence.

In the final judgment, the court ordered Shanghai Siba Media to pay Wang 9,000 yuan in labor fees and 188.8 yuan in transportation costs.
