Overseasidol.com — On April 12, the drama “The Demon Hunter’s Romance”, starring Song Zuer, was suddenly announced to premiere that same day.
The series began filming in June 2022 and officially wrapped up production on November 7 of that year.
Song Zuer had previously been the subject of public controversy when, on August 31, 2023, she was formally accused of tax evasion.
However, in August 2024, her team issued a statement clarifying that following an investigation by tax authorities, no evidence of tax evasion was found and she had not been subjected to any administrative penalties related to tax issues.
In addition to “The Demon Hunter’s Romance”, Song Zuer has several upcoming dramas awaiting release, including “The Prisoner of Beauty” with Liu Yuning.
She also the lead cast in “Created in China” alongside with actor Zhang Xincheng.
