Overseasidol.com — Thai actor Boy Pakorn has opened up about his recent health struggles after fans noticed swelling on his neck.
He revealed that doctors diagnosed him with salivary gland inflammation caused by calcium deposits blocking the gland.
To ease the swelling, fluid was temporarily drained with a needle. However, Boy admitted that the only permanent solution may be surgery.
Due to his busy filming schedule, he plans to postpone the procedure until he can take a month-long break.
Boy confessed that he was initially worried the lump could be cancerous. But after undergoing detailed tests, doctors confirmed it was not malignant.
This diagnosis has brought him great relief, even though the condition may return. He shared that for now the swelling has gone down and he hopes it stays that way.
Speaking about his political drama series, Boy clarified that the script was written years ago and was never intended to reflect current political events.
He explained that any similarities to recent situations are purely coincidental. As an actor, he stressed that his role is to follow the script, not to comment on politics.
Boy emphasized that the drama should be viewed as a reflection of society, not a direct reference to any specific person or event.
