Overseasidol.com — The opening ceremony of the 33rd SEA Games on December 9, 2028, became a viral topic across social media after the “IGNITE THE GAME” performance received widespread criticism.

Violette has now spoken out, releasing a detailed statement explaining the truth behind the incident.

She revealed that the issue stemmed from a major technical failure not her singing ability.

According to her, the production team had originally agreed that the entire segment would use 100% lip-sync to ensure a smooth performance for such a large-scale national event.

However, during the actual show, her microphone which was supposed to remain muted was mistakenly turned on, broadcasting her live voice to the audience without her knowledge.

To make matters worse, her in-ear monitor did not provide her with any feed of her own vocals, leaving her unable to hear herself at all.

Violette admitted she was heartbroken, stating that the incident had severely damaged the image and credibility she has built over her years as a professional singer.

She described the experience as a devastating blow to her reputation, dignity, and artistic career.

She explained that she had followed instructions to perform with lip-sync, only to be sabotaged by a breakdown in communication and technical coordination.

With her microphone unexpectedly broadcasting live, she had no control over the outcome.

“All I can do now is defend myself with the little space I have,” she wrote. “My name, my image, and my profession were damaged because of a technical error that shouldn’t have happened,”.

Her statement has sparked strong reactions online, with fans expressing support and urging the event organizers to take responsibility and explain the technical issues that led to the incident.
