Chinese television personality and entertainer Xie Na has become the center of online discussion following the announcement of her upcoming national concert tour.

While many fans welcomed the news, others questioned both her qualifications as a concert performer and the approval process behind the event.

The controversy intensified after some social media users alleged that ticket sales began before official approval had been granted.

In response, event organizer Saiheng Culture released a statement on June 9, 2026, clarifying that all procedures were completed in accordance with regulations.

According to the organizer, application documents for the concert were submitted to the relevant authorities on May 27, 2026.

Official approval was then granted on May 28. The company stressed that every stage of the process was conducted legally and followed the required procedures.

Public opinion remains divided. Supporters argue that Xie Na’s concerts offer unique entertainment value, especially because her events often feature well-known celebrity guests.

Many fans believe the ticket prices are reasonable considering the overall experience.

However, critics have questioned whether a national concert tour is appropriate for someone primarily known as a television host rather than a professional singer.

The debate has sparked wider discussions about industry standards and the growing trend of celebrities expanding into the live concert market.

Officials from Beijing’s Haidian District Bureau of Culture and Tourism also addressed the issue.

They explained that their responsibility is to review and approve the performance content.

Once approval is granted, decisions regarding marketing campaigns and ticket sales are handled independently by event organizers. (Overseasidol.com)
