Overseasidol.com — Taiwanese actress Michelle Chen has officially issued a public apology on April 2 regarding her endorsement of the supplement brand “Youthit”.

In a statement released by her studio, she pledged to take full responsibility by offering complete refunds to customers who purchased the product through her livestream sessions and online storefront.

Michelle Chen’s management clarified that all buyers are eligible for a full refund regardless of when the purchase was made or whether the product has been opened.

The refund process will be completed within 72 hours after order verification, with a firm commitment to ensuring accountability without delay.

Meanwhile, Chinese actor Joseph Zeng Shunxi, who previously collaborated with the same brand, also addressed the issue.

His studio stated that the partnership was only short-term and had already ended by the end of 2024.

He expressed sincere apologies to consumers, fans, and all parties affected by the controversy.

The controversy erupted after a major Chinese media investigation revealed that the “Youthit” supplement falsely marketed itself as an imported product from Australia, while it was domestically manufactured.

The report triggered widespread public backlash and prompted other celebrities, including Li Ruotong and Zhang Xiaohui, to issue apologies and promise full refunds to affected customers.
