Overseasidol.com — Chinese singer Diaomond Zhang Bichen has successfully pursued legal action against an individual surnamed Yang for online defamation.

Recently, Yang was subjected to compulsory enforcement, with a fine of 8,000 yuan (about 1.095 USD) imposed by the authorities.

Previously, Zhang Bichen’s legal team had issued a statement detailing the case.

They revealed that, based on the court’s findings and the defendant’s own admissions, multiple defamatory claims had been spread online through various accounts.

These false accusations included claims that Zhang had “given birth to a child for a high child support payout,” “received two hundred million yuan as breakup compensation,” “had a child in secret to gain social standing,” “hired paparazzi to photograph her child’s face,” “sold her child’s ID number,” been involved in “scandalous videos,” “been kept by a wealthy patron,” “interfered in another person’s marriage,” “acted as a mistress,” and “spent 30 million yuan to buy the championship title of The Voice of China.”

The statement further pointed out that some accounts also used large amounts of insulting and defamatory language.

The court concluded that these actions constituted a violation of Zhang Bichen’s right to reputation.

The case against Yang was one of the incidents detailed in the public statement issued by Zhang’s legal representatives.
