Overseasidol.com — On April 22, JSTV News reported a salary dispute surrounding the production of the drama “The City Maker”, starring Zhao Liying and Huang Xiaoming.

That evening, the person involved, who had claimed unpaid wages for four months, told reporters that the issue had been properly resolved and all due payments had been fully settled.

Previously, a media representative contacted Mr. Zhuang from a Fujian-based media company, who revealed that according to the agreement, wages were supposed to be paid within 15 to 30 days after filming concluded.

However, due to delays and finger-pointing between the assistant director, the financial department, and actors, the payment had been delayed for up to four months.

Fortunately, all outstanding payments have now been made, and the matter has officially been closed.
