Overseasidol.com — Renowned producer and showrunner Mon Suppakit Kanupat has officially launched his latest project.
The new BL series Lottery Doctor held its opening ceremony and blessing ritual on July 16 at Channel 7, marking the start of filming.
The release of the Official Pilot instantly went viral, trending on X within the first day.
Fans of BL dramas are now eagerly watching to see if Lottery Doctor will become one of Channel 7’s strongest titles.
Beyond his work in entertainment, Mon continues to pursue education.
He was recently spotted at the First Meet D.Com Arts 10 event as a doctoral student in Marketing Communication at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce.
His PhD research focuses on BL series, a continuation of his Master’s thesis in Digital Communication from Kasetsart University, where he studied brand communication through BL dramas.
“I want to inspire young actors that education still matters. It gives us value.
For me, this PhD is a way to deepen my knowledge and apply it in production, advertising, and to contribute to the growth of the BL industry,” Mon explained.
As for the filming progress, several scenes of Lottery Doctor have already been completed.
Many of them feature sweet and heartwarming moments between the lead characters Cut and Boston.
