His name has consistently appeared in the donation list, sparking heated discussion online.

In response, Jay Chou’s agency JVR confirmed the news. They stated that Jay has been donating annually since 2009 to support underprivileged children in Taiwan.
“This year marks the 17th year,” the agency explained.
They also emphasized that these donations were never meant for publicity, saying, “It’s something he has always wanted to do. There’s no need to announce it every year,”.
