The name comes from two parts “Nong” representing cuteness and charm, and “Zon,” derived from the initials of Zee and Nunew.
In English, “ZoN” also means “Zee only Nunew,” adding a sweet touch for fans.
The character is designed as a mix between a husky dog and an orange cat.
It features an adorable “bread smile” sharp eyebrows, and a cool appearance that fans quickly fell in love with.
After the reveal, Zee Pruk tweeted that “NongZon is so cute. I am a daddy now, let’s raise our little one together,”.
Nunew also shared his excitement, saying, “Isn’t Nong Zon cute? Zee and I have already approved it. Please help us raise Nong Zon, because the two of us alone might not handle it. When grown up, NongZon will be naughty for sure,”.
The launch of Nong Zon immediately gained attention from fans, who flooded social media with love and excitement.
