Domundi TV (DMD) officially unveiled its new drama project Unknown Lover during the DMD LINEUP 2026 event held on June 18, 2026, at Union Mall in Bangkok.
The annual lineup showcase is Domundi’s biggest platform to reveal upcoming series for 2026–2027.
Unknown Lover quickly became one of the most anticipated titles, starring the popular pairing Thomas Teetut Chungmanirat and Kong Kongpob Jirojmontri (ThomasKong).
Adapted from a popular novel, the story follows Blue (played by Kong), a young man who runs away to New York City in the summer after discovering his boyfriend’s infidelity and fighting with his father.
There, he meets Anwar (played by Thomas), someone who teaches him many new things over four months, from how to dress, cook, drink, kiss, and most importantly, how to find himself again.
The series is set in New York, offering fresh visuals of the bustling city, multicultural elements, and special appearances by mixed-race Thai actors such as Bank Mondop, Leon Zech, and Nick Abiven. (Overseasidol.com)
