Overseasidol.com — Producer Yasushi Akimoto has officially launched a new entertainment initiative titled Cloud ten, aimed at creating the next generation of male idol groups.

Alongside the project, its flagship documentary-variety program “Cloud ten Begins” premiered its first episode on April 23, exclusively on Lemino Premium.

The Cloud ten project introduces 30 selected trainees who successfully passed the audition process.

These young talents were officially unveiled on the same day, marking the beginning of their journey toward debuting as a new idol group.

The program offers an intimate look into their early stages, capturing not only their performances during auditions but also their daily training, personal growth, and relationships with fellow members and family.

The show is hosted by comedian Hikokorohi, who guides viewers through the participants’ development.

The first episode features guest appearances from Yuki Kashiwagi and Kumamoto Pro Wrestling, adding diverse perspectives and entertainment value to the program.

Looking ahead, the project plans to open a dedicated theater in the summer of 2026 at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza.

The venue, with a capacity of around 300 seats, will serve as a creative hub for performances and a platform to introduce a new style of live entertainment.

New episodes of Cloud ten Begins will be released every two weeks starting May 9, with additional highlight clips set to be uploaded on the official YouTube channel.
