Overseasidol.com — TSH48 management has officially announced the selection mechanics for their upcoming single project, “Nagori Zakura” Chinese version.
The announcement highlights honorary awards for top members and the formal selection process for members includes 8th Generation.
Gui Chuchu has been named the “ACE Member,” while Ye Zhi’en is honored in her role as “Captain”. Their contributions have earned them a prominent spot in this single.
The selection for 8th Generation members will follow a rigorous 50/50 scoring system.
Performance Evaluation (50%): A professional jury, led by producer T2O, will assess the members’ singing and dancing skills.
Fan Support (50%): This score is derived from fan engagement and the purchase of official merchandise.
Fans can support their favorite trainees by collecting popularity points through “Thank You Cards” and pre-ordering the “Nagori Sakura” CD packages.
The statistics tracking period is set from April 19 to May 31, 2026.
The “Nagori Sakura” digital release and album signing events are scheduled for mid-to-late July 2026.
