Overseasidol.com — AKB48 has officially announced its upcoming “Mirai no Standard” or Future Standard Concert Selection Project, scheduled to take place on September 26–27, 2026, at K-Arena Yokohama in Japan.
The special event will allow fans to directly influence the future direction of AKB48 concerts through a series of unique performance concepts.
Developed from fan feedback, the project features three distinct concert formats designed to showcase different aspects of the group.
The first performance, scheduled for the afternoon of September 26, is the “Suki-ish Concert” which will celebrate the release of AKB48’s 68th single, “Suki-ish” and focus primarily on the selected senbatsu members.
Later that evening, AKB48 will present the “All Members Suki-ish Concert” a performance designed to highlight every member equally.
The concept emphasizes teamwork while allowing each performer to showcase her individual charm and stage presence.
The final concert, taking place on September 27, introduces the interactive “Your Favorite is Suki-ish Concert”.

In this format, fan participation will play a significant role in shaping the show.
The number of ticket applications received for each member will influence song positions and the number of appearances they make throughout the concert.
Audience seating arrangements will also be determined through a member lottery system.
Fans can purchase dedicated support seats for their favorite members, while seating zones will be assigned based on lottery results conducted by the members themselves.
The drawing process is expected to be streamed live at a later date.
According to AKB48, the concept that receives the strongest overall support from fans may become the blueprint for future AKB48 concerts.
The initiative transforms fans from spectators into active participants, giving them a direct voice in shaping the group’s live entertainment experience.
