GMMTV is facing criticism after releasing official merchandise for the Ticket to Heaven Fan Party, which includes a rosary necklace among its items.
The merchandise is available for pre-order exclusively to fans who purchased higher-tier tickets for the fan party (starting from THB 3,500).
Alongside the rosary necklace themed around the character Tanrak, there are also cross bracelets and other items inspired by the BL series Ticket to Heaven, starring Gemini Norawit and Fourth Nattawat.
The time has come! The advance purchase privilege for official merchandise is exclusive to customers who have purchased Ticket to Heaven Fan Party tickets priced at THB 4,500 / 4,000 and 3,500 only.https://t.co/dd7a6Zir04

The series tells the story of Tanrak, a devout Catholic seminary student in the 1990s, who develops feelings for the rebellious Barth.
Themes of faith, identity, and inner conflict are central to the plot.
Many netizens, particularly Catholics and Christians, argue that the rosary is a sacred sacramental meant for prayer, not something to be commercialized as fan merchandise or fashion accessories.
They see this as disrespectful to religious values.“A rosary isn’t just a necklace. It’s a sacred object that should be treated with reverence,” wrote one user on X in a widely shared post.
As of now, GMMTV has not issued an official statement regarding the controversy.
