Wu Chun has publicly criticized Cathay Pacific after his luggage went missing for three days following his arrival in Paris.

His social media post quickly attracted widespread attention, prompting the airline to respond with an official apology.

On June 25, Wu Chun revealed that he had repeatedly contacted the airline’s customer service to inquire about his missing baggage.

However, he said the responses he received lacked urgency and failed to provide a satisfactory update.

According to Wu, he was originally scheduled to fly from Melbourne to Paris via Hong Kong.

After his first flight was delayed, Cathay Pacific rerouted his journey through Manchester, where he transferred to an Air France flight bound for Paris.

Before boarding in Hong Kong, Wu said he specifically asked airline staff to confirm that his luggage would be transferred to the new itinerary.

He claimed the staff assured him that handling his baggage was their responsibility.

Despite that confirmation, his luggage failed to arrive when he landed in Paris.

After waiting three days without any clear resolution, Wu shared a video online expressing his frustration.

Shortly afterward, Cathay Pacific released a statement apologizing for the inconvenience caused.

The airline explained that the baggage delay resulted from an error during the transfer process in Manchester.

According to Cathay Pacific, the luggage was not successfully loaded onto the connecting flight to Paris due to an operational oversight during the transit process.

Cathay Pacific added that the missing luggage has now been located.

The airline is currently coordinating with its partner carrier to arrange delivery so the baggage can be returned to Wu Chun as quickly as possible. (Overseasidol.com)
