Overseasidol.com — Chinese actress Bao Shang’en has recently spoken out after her personal belongings were allegedly stolen and sold online by a driver during a filming transfer.
According to reports, while moving between filming locations, several of her private items, including clothing, socks, filming props, and fan gifts, were illegally taken and displayed on social media for sale.
In an official statement, Bao Shang’en’s studio confirmed that the incident caused both property loss and significant reputational damage.
The driver allegedly withheld the items without permission, took photos of them, and attempted to profit by selling them online.
Following the incident, Bao Shang’en and her team immediately launched an internal investigation.
The driver has since issued a handwritten apology, returned the items (which are currently being verified), and compensated for the losses. The studio emphasized that the individual involved will never be rehired.
The management team also stated that all related staff members have undergone serious internal reflection and received disciplinary action.
They reserved the right to pursue legal responsibility for those involved and pledged to strengthen security and management in future projects to ensure the safety of their artist’s personal property and rights.
This incident sparked public discussion on artist privacy and workplace ethics, highlighting the need for stricter management in film productions to prevent similar violations from happening again.
