Overseasidol.com — Japanese idol group Boku ga Mitakatta Aozora (commonly known as BokuAo) has officially announced the selected members for their 7th single, which will be released on December 17.
The announcement was made through the group’s official YouTube channel. The new single marks several changes in the lineup.
Hitomi Hasegawa joins as a first-time selected member, while Nana Shiogama makes her comeback to the lineup since the 5th single.
Ami Kanazawa has been chosen as the main member, leading the Aozora-gumi (selected team). For the Kumo-gumi (non-selected team), Yua Kudo has been appointed as the main member.
The Aozora-gumi for the 7th single consists of eleven members: Riko Iwamoto, Ami Kanazawa, Nana Shiogama, Eren Sugiura, Miuna Sunaga, Aya Nishimori, Hitomi Hasegawa, Suzuki Hayasaki, Toa Yagi, Karen Yanagihori, and Kokona Yoshimoto.
Kanazawa expressed her determination, saying she wants more people to know about BokuAo and hopes to become someone fans can proudly support.
Kudo also shared her resolution, stating that after learning much from her previous experience, she aims to grow into a more reliable presence.
Meanwhile, group leader Shiogama emphasized that every member is confident and ready to deliver their best as they approach the release of the 7th single.
To celebrate the single’s release, the group will hold nationwide individual handshake events, online talk sessions, and their first-ever online autograph sessions.
Additionally, BokuAo will host a solo concert titled BokuAo Festival 2025 at KT Zepp Yokohama on October 18.
