Overseasidol.com — A rumored female trainee lineup for “Chuang 2026” has recently gone viral online, quickly igniting heated discussions among fans and industry observers.
The leaked list drew immediate attention for its controversial content, including an overwhelming number of returning survival show contestants and an unusually large proposed group size.
However, closer scrutiny has led many to question whether the list is genuine at all.
One of the biggest red flags lies in the heavy presence of so-called “recycled trainees.” Several names on the list are familiar faces from previous talent shows such as Chuang, The Coming One, and other major auditions.
In addition, multiple members from the SNH48 GROUP are also rumored to participate, they are Yang Bingyi, Bai Xinyu, Lin Shuqing, Tian Shuli, Tan Sihui, and Jiang Shuting.
Critics argue that many of these individuals are already well-established in their careers, making their inclusion as trainees highly questionable.
The situation becomes even more confusing with the alleged mentor lineup. Wu Xuanyi and Zhang Zining are said to appear as mentors, despite having debuted around the same period as some of the rumored trainees.
Several former AKB48 Team SH members such as Shen Ying, Zhu Ling, Hu Xinyin, and Wu Anqi are also included in these rumors.
This overlap has led to widespread skepticism, as it creates an awkward scenario where peers suddenly become mentors, something rarely seen in large-scale survival programs.
Further doubts arose when the list included members of A2O MAY, a newly debuted Korean girl group.
Industry watchers pointed out that this directly conflicts with the typical career planning and contractual obligations of newly launched idol groups, making their participation highly unlikely.
The rumored concept of forming a 13-member girl group has also drawn criticism. Many fans argue that such a large lineup goes against current market trends, where smaller groups are considered more manageable, marketable, and sustainable on a global scale.
As of now, no official statement has been released by the production team regarding the rumored lineup.
