Overseasidol.com — Thai actor and singer Daou Pittaya Phitthaya has once again become the center of attention after his old pre-debut photos resurfaced on social media.
Many fans noticed his facial changes, especially how his eyes now appear softer and more expressive than before.
In a recent interview, Daou responded calmly to the viral comparisons, saying he’s not at all embarrassed about his past look.
“I think it’s cute. I used to be a chubby kid with acne and low self-confidence.
But that period is part of who I am. I’m not ashamed of it, and I wouldn’t erase it because it’s a precious memory,” he shared.
When asked about rumors that he underwent cosmetic procedures during his trip to South Korea, Daou clarified that his refreshed appearance was purely the result of rest and relaxation.
“I just slept a lot, ate well, and went to temples to pray. I asked for my face to look brighter and healthier,” he said playfully.
He added, “After the trip, people said my eyes looked more lively. Before, they always said I looked tired.”
He also admitted to getting a down perm, a type of soft hair treatment, but denied any surgical enhancements.
“I did a down perm about ten days ago, so it’s still a bit swollen. It’ll settle in a few months. I’m happy with the result and ready for upcoming projects,” he concluded with a cheerful smile.
