The 63-year-old legendary Hong Kong actor has never been married.
Among his relationships, his romance with Jacqueline Law is the most well-known.
When asked if she was Chow’s true love, Wong Jing said only Chow could answer that. Still, he admitted the love between them was once very deep.
Wong Jing revealed that Jacqueline Law wanted marriage at the peak of their relationship.
However, Stephen Chow was then at the height of his career, with his fame growing daily. Because of that, he was not ready for marriage, and the two eventually drifted apart.
As for whether Chow regrets it, Wong Jing said love itself leaves no regrets.
Yet he added that when one does not make decisions at the right time, regrets are bound to follow.
He encouraged people to bravely choose the right relationship, and if an outcome is clearly impossible, it is better to end things early.
