Overseasidol.com — Hong Kong music icon Eason Chan has once again addressed his struggle with anxiety disorder during a recent screening of his concert tour documentary.

He revealed that he had kept the diagnosis from his mother to avoid worrying her.

However, once the news became public, his mother immediately called to ask why he had been under such immense pressure.

Chan reassured fans that his condition is mild. “I’m really fine. My anxiety is not so severe that I can’t leave my room. So, everyone doesn’t need to worry,” he said.

Earlier on August 5, Chan disclosed that he developed anxiety after his Hangzhou concert due to overwhelming work stress.

Just days later, on August 8 during his Macau concert, he was seen clutching his chest and gagging mid-performance while singing “Seven Hundred Years Later”.

Many fans believed this to be a physical symptom of anxiety and urged him to take time off to rest and recover.
