Overseasidol.com — Japanese idol group Nogizaka46 has officially announced its 42nd single, “Zehi ni Oyobazu”, scheduled for release on July 22, 2026.
Alongside the announcement, the group unveiled a dedicated special website and released a brand-new visual image, generating excitement among fans worldwide.
One of the biggest highlights of the upcoming release is the selection of Tsutsui Ayame as the center member.
The lineup was revealed through Nogizaka Under Construction on July 6, placing the fourth-generation member at the forefront of the group’s newest era.
The senbatsu lineup for “Zehi ni Oyobazu” features members from the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth generations, showcasing the group’s continued evolution while bringing together representatives from different eras of Nogizaka46.
The line up members consist of Iwamoto Renka, Endo Sakura, Kaki Haruka, Tamura Mayu, Tsutsui Ayame, Hayashi Runa, Yumiki Nao, Ioki Mao, Ikeda Teresa, Ichinose Miku, Inoue Nagi, Kawasaki Sakura, Sugawara Satsuki, Nakanishi Aruno, Okoshi Hinano, Setoguchi Mitsuki, Morihira Urumi, and Yada Moeka.
At the same time, the group introduced the official visual concept for the 42nd single.
The newly released image offers fans their first glimpse of the promotional direction and atmosphere surrounding the highly anticipated release.
For physical editions, “Zehi ni Oyobazu” will be available in four limited versions: TYPE-A, TYPE-B, TYPE-C, and TYPE-D.
