Overseasidol.com — On May 15, Chinese actor and idol Fan Chengcheng’s studio released an official statement addressing repeated harassment and stalking behavior carried out by an underage sasaeng fan.
The agency stated that the incidents had occurred multiple times over the past few months and had seriously violated the artist’s privacy and personal safety.
According to the statement, the individual allegedly exposed Fan Chengcheng’s personal information, checked into flights without authorization, and shared private photos and videos taken inside airplane cabins since March 2026.
The studio also claimed that the fan infiltrated hotel floors where filming was taking place, lingered outside the artist’s room, and even threatened to knock on his door.
In addition, the agency reported incidents of dangerous late-night vehicle stalking and unauthorized close-range photography.
The studio stressed that these actions posed significant threats not only to privacy but also to the artist’s physical safety.
The company confirmed that the matter has already been reported to the police and that evidence has been collected.
Authorities reportedly gave disciplinary warnings and educational guidance to the underage individual involved.
Despite the suspect’s age, Fan Chengcheng’s studio stated that it would continue pursuing legal action.
The agency revealed that all evidence has been submitted to the court and that formal legal proceedings are being prepared.
The statement also emphasized that legal protections for minors should never be used as an excuse to repeatedly cross personal boundaries.
