Thai actor God Itthipat Thanit has officially announced his withdrawal from the upcoming BL series Passenger Seat Number X.

Speaking to the media for the first time, he said the decision was made to ensure everyone’s peace of mind and prevent the controversy from affecting his other projects.

God explained that he originally accepted the role because he saw it as an opportunity to return to the BL genre after many fans expressed their wish to see him in similar projects again.

After reviewing the script, he learned that his character was only a supporting role without a romantic pairing, so he agreed to join the production.

However, after the pilot trailer was released, the project received heavy criticism online. God admitted he was shocked by the strong reaction.

Although he did not read every comment, he was aware of the situation through people around him.

After careful consideration, he decided to step away from the series to avoid creating further problems for the production team, fellow cast members, and his ongoing acting projects.

The actor also addressed an old interview in which he said he would not return to BL dramas.

He explained that those comments were made during a period when he was experiencing severe burnout, which led him to take a three-year break from the entertainment industry.

He emphasized that his words reflected his mental state at the time and were never intended to hurt fans.

Now at the age of 30, God Itthipat said he has become more mature and thoughtful in handling difficult situations.

He thanked fans and the media for allowing him to explain his decision.

Moving forward, he plans to focus entirely on acting and is preparing for his first drama with Channel 7, which is expected to premiere soon. (Overseasidol.com)
