Overseasidol.com — Japanese boy group JO1 will mark their 5th anniversary with a special two-day event titled “JO1 5th Anniversary ～Matsuri～”, taking place on October 18 and 19.
The group has also unveiled the official key visual for the celebration.
The event will be held at the Sea Forest Waterway Special Venue, a symbolic site used for rowing and canoe sprint competitions during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
With “legacy” as its theme, the location will be reimagined into a unique JO1-style entertainment stage that creates new value and memories.
The live performance will feature a spectacular 90-minute show combining JO1’s music with synchronized fireworks, with more than 15,000 fireworks lighting up the night sky across two days.
In addition to the concert, the entire Sea Forest Waterway area will be transformed into a large-scale outdoor festival.
Visitors can enjoy exclusive event merchandise, food trucks, festival-style booths, and interactive fan club activities from day to night.
Ticket applications for JO1 OFFICIAL FANCLUB and JO1 Mail W members will open on September 17 at 6:00 PM.
Access to the venue will only be available via a dedicated round-trip shuttle bus departing from Tokyo Teleport Station.
