Chinese actor and singer Karry Wang (Wang Junkai) attended the ceremony as an honorary jury member of the Roberto Rossellini Awards.
This year marks his fifth visit to the Pingyao festival. Wang shared that each year has been a unique and exciting experience for him.
From serving as a jury member, then as a special curator, and now as part of the Rossellini jury, every role has brought new challenges and inspirations.
During his speech, Wang expressed his gratitude to director Jia Zhangke for the invitation.
He emphasized his commitment to focusing on cinema itself, working together with senior filmmakers, and exploring diverse ideas.
