Overseasidol.com — On September 24 at 7:00 PM WIB, KLP48 officially announced its 2nd Generation lineup, unveiling thirteen new members from different countries.
The new generation includes talents from Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, and Kazakhstan, making this one of the most diverse groups in the franchise’s history.
The 2nd Generation members are Maia, Sharleez, Shu Zhen, Tara, Alice, Isabel, and Joo from Malaysia. Cindy, Diva, Hana, and Kei represent Indonesia.
Mashiro joins from Japan, while Aisha makes history as the first-ever Kazakh to become part of the global 48 Group family.
This milestone is particularly significant for Aisha, as she becomes the first member from Kazakhstan to debut in any 48 Group sister unit.
Mashiro also draws attention as a former member of idol group WONDER∞WANDER, while Diva and Cindy bring prior experience from Indonesian idol group UpGirls.
With the announcement of its 2nd Generation, KLP48 continues to expand its international identity.
The addition of members with diverse cultural backgrounds is expected to bring new energy and global appeal to the group.
